A continuation of Durant's collaboration with famed pop artist Ron English. This shoe references Ron's NFT project, the Light Cult Crypto Club. Adorned in a psychedelic red print, an iconic Bulbhead is incorporated into the KD 14's. The Slim Reaper lit New York for 53 points as he debuted these sneakers.
The Nike KD 14 brings back the mid-foot strap. It was previously used on the Nike KD 4 and Nike KD 7 and takes inspiration from the shape of the grim reaper's scythe. The multilayer mesh and midfoot strap help reduce your foot's movements inside the shoe. Full-length Zoom Air cushioning plus Cushlon foam give back energy for lasting performance.
Grooves and ridges in the sole help provide multidirectional traction and court feel. A stiff piece under the arch helps keep the shoe stable. Both shoes together reveal the face of a skull.
